THIS CERTAIN FEELING

I have a certain friend
Whom I loved for so long
I never said my true feelings
For I was afraid it might be wrong
So I went on pretending
That I only want him as a friend
But deep inside I was hoping
That this friendly game will end

And then one day he told me
A secret he wished to tell.
That he loves this certain girl,
And so, my whole world fell
I want so much to cry,
"oh no! how could this be?"
I asked him who is this girl,
He told me this was,
ME.

Aww, I hope it's a true story, too. <3 I actually did have that happen once where I'd been crushing on a close friend of mine and one night he started talking about this new girl he was interested in. I wasn't crushed, but it was a bit disappointing because I'd been having such a great time with him lately. Turned out, it was me after all. <3

Very cute poem for a silent admiration. It's very popular for teenagers. It's nice if you and your friend would be lovers in the end because you already know each other and the foundation is strong but not all friends have mutual feelings for each other. Most are only a one sided feelings.

Wow. I felt like seeing a drama in television here. The words and lines are exact. This is a well-written poems. Although it never happens to me being connected with a male friend since most of my circle are girls, now I got curious what it feels like having a male friend then become a boyfriend.
