Being in a long distance relationship for 2 years can really be hard. 3 months ago, I broke up with my fiance for the hundredth (metaphorically speaking) time,but we're ok now.

For 2 years that I've been consistently breaking up with him for selfish reasons, there was never a time that he let go of me. He was always there to pursue our love and understand me. I've hurt him so many times that he came to a point that he almost gave up on us. I swallowed my pride and asked him to give our relationship one last chance, but he said he still loves me but he needs me to help him break the wall that he created for himself. He had all the reasons to doubt and protect himself from the pain that I constantly cause him and told him that I'll wait for him til he's ready to give our love another chance,and that I'll do everything to bring back the same "him" that I knew. I gave him this short poem which he liked. Here's the poem:

"I am digging deeper to find you,stay where you are til I�m with you.
I thought leaving was a virtue,but look what it�s gotten us into.
I don�t worry about the pain I have to go through,as long as I end up being with you.
If it�s too late to have you, I�ll cry and smile too, because I know deep within you, you know that I didn�t fail you."

Then the next day, I received a message from him. I was in tears while reading what he wrote:

Stop digging deeper... You won't find who your looking for there...

Just look around you...

Because he has always been beside you, behind you, in front of you, deep inside of you...

All you have to do is close your eyes and feel the love... He has always and will forever have for you...

Oh wow! I could read so much love in here. He seemed to be such a sweet guy and taking from his words, I believe he really loves you and I don't think he'll ever stop. Do your best, dear. Never let him go.

Yeah he is very sweet and loving, though he tends to get jealous a lot,but not anything that I can't handle,Lol! I never thought I was capable of loving this much until I found him, and I intend to keep him for the rest of my life.

That's very sweet of you. Except how come it sounds kind of like you are talking about a toy or a pet dog instead of a person?

I love the emotions that jump out of your poems; both. There will always be humps and bumps in any relationship; but each time you encounter some storms in your relationship - always go back to those poems and feel the words to regain your strength from it. ^_^

That is so sweet. I can feel the love that you both have for one another. It is true that fights are inevitable and you will reach the point wherein you said you are giving up. But after a while, you will realize how much you want to be with him even in hard times. I remember the time wherein I broke up with my boyfriend and because I know that I am wrong, I am the one who talked to him and asked him "Will you be my boyfriend....... again?" . I'm glad that he forgives me and we finally made it. We're already on our 7th year, and soon to be married.

I love this, it is so awesome and you and read the love in the poem. So very sweet, and passion in the words. Even though it is unique and special, it shows the love between two.

How wonderful of you to write that, romance is alive in the world.

Here is one I wrote to a woman, who unfortunately married an oil worker later that year, but I tried.

Oh Margo your cheeks are divine,
I throw plates when I see them and I'm mentally fine,
Undo your reserves and I'll serve you a big one,
35 years worth and I'll be your sweet hon.

Get back oil worker,
you havent' a chance,
this woman is mine and we have a romance,
ok so you earn 110k a year, her love is so deep I have no real fear.

2 weeks later she left me for him, but I have my memories and now I enjoy a quiet life weeping into my trousers.
